The client requested a GPR Void Mapping Analysis, which led to on-site assessment, analysis, and reporting to confirm voiding under the concrete slab.
Providing Services Australia-Wide
The client requested a GPR Void Mapping Analysis, which led to on-site assessment, analysis, and reporting to confirm voiding under the concrete slab.
SureScan was engaged to perform an extensive ground-penetrating radar (GPR) survey at an airport to prepare for future infrastructure development to accommodate larger aircraft. The project began with the successful runway and concrete slab scans, allowing for incident-free core drilling with no underground services detected.
SureScan was asked to conduct concrete testing utilising our Schmidt Hammer on a series of columns and suspended slabs. The aim of the deployment was to assess and estimate the compressive strength and integrity of the concrete which exhibited discolouration and honeycombing.
The scope of the project was the identification and rectification of a failed concrete pour. SureScan was approached to provide accurate scanning and data representation of the defect, allowing for effective resolution.
SureScan was recently engaged by a client in NSW to complete a concrete compressive strength analysis, along a 2-kilometre stretch near Waterfall Train Station.
The objective was to safely determine their depth and exact positioning relative to the approach slab, facilitating construction without damaging essential utilities. SureScan conducted a detailed GPR survey of a specified 3m x 1.5m area to map conduits under the existing road.
SureScan was commissioned by a client to execute a detailed inspection of bracing installations during the construction phase, focusing on essential points necessary for obtaining approval release.
SureScan was engaged by a client to conduct a reinforcement cover check on an isolated bored pier which appeared to have reduced cover. The most effective technique to attain the most accurate data was to perform isolated horizontal scans at set intervals.
SureScan was called to a winery in McLaren Vale to conduct a comprehensive scan of a designated 3 x 6 metre area. The primary focus was to verify the presence of utilities and pinpoint the location of reinforcement within the concrete slab.
A client engaged SureScan to assess a wastewater treatment plant’s staircase. Using GPR and Covermeter, we evaluated subsurface voids, concrete cover depth, and condition.
We provide concrete scanning and structural reporting in all major cities including Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra, Darwin and Hobart as well as regional areas.
